Hope you enjoyed getting your cherry popped Gunny. the best advice I can give is to not worry about being in peoples way & race your race. the more skilled drivers will find their way around you more easily if you're not trying to get out of their way. Plus when it comes to getting your ass handed to you, just remember, we were all shitty drivers at one point. Just keep showing up & having fun.
Gunny, like you, I wanted to stay out of the way when I joined a few weeks ago and was way behind the power curve. In just a few weeks of track time, I'm now more comfortable running with these guys in the pack. I know it's hard to run your own line when your first starting out but keep getting time on the track and your times will continue to drop.
If you see us online in a "private" race feel free to stick your head in and join the race.

No worries bro, hell even though we were the back of the pack it was still close racing all around. Pretty sure the entire group was seperated by just the main straight, awesome car and great close racing, was fun no matter where you were
Starting on time is always an issue. we do the best we can with what we have to work with. Although it does help if folks show up a few minutes early to alleviate these issues.

It was very close racing up until that point, but with a 15% handicap and 900ft behind 15th it was pointless carrying on.

That was some close racing guys! Congrats to Ramciosa and Hundredthshrimp on the wins. Also had podiums for Brntguy (two), Maxperforma, and myself.
Brnt and I were all over shrimps bumper in race 2 trying to overcome our handicaps but he was just too fast on the straits....
This wasn't a first lap or two kind of group this was several laps in. And still this close.
