future plan

Since most of us enjoy touring cars this is what id like to do for next season, over the next few weeks for the week of the clios id like to test some mods out and run a wtcc series and btcc series bi weekly.  This will hopefully keep Knights complaining about being a terrible rwd driver to a minimum :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnV1xPJPe8U

So for the WTCC season ive come across this mod

WTCC 2012

http://www.drivingitalia.net/forum/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=4725

Great graphics, sound and physics....rwd cars with a few small tweaks are very managable, as for tracks iam currently downloading an official 2011 track pack ill post it once its done.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Lj919WVSoo

For the BTCC mod will use the SR2000 mod

http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=37137

skinpack

http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=37114

has all the skinsand more great all round mod, its missing the actual models of the honda ford but use the accoed and c30 as a sub with the edition of bmg as well :)

for the tracks will use the current btcc tracks and swap in/out any new tracks for 2013 once there confirmed

One other mod id like to through in if we get another day going beside sat is a 2011 scirocco cup series and a 350z series

scirocco cup

http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=34061

350z

http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=36640

for tracks will just run the same tracks as the above series for that week.

let me know what you guys think, and again iam open to suggestions :)

rfactor:

Iam also gonna work on or copy GBR if they decide to run a wtcc series but on a different day possibly sat mornings for the euro guys/myself that cant make there wed nite race, and for who ever else wants to hop in.....all depending on the # of attendee's that is

Cheers

I would say can you give me a hint as to which mods you intend to run as 2o2r series? I am now loaded up with stuff that it seems will never see the light of day...

That SSR mod causes my R07 to crash nothing I can do to stop it I said that before..WTCC 2012 runs okay as does the Scirocco...have to wait on the Nissan as I have hit the download limit on that site.

Only Mods being run to date is the current 06/07 wtcc mod. Clio mod is done pointless running a 3 person race.....for the remainder of the season will test the above Mods for next season. Next season 06/07 will be replaced with wtcc 12 and the official wtcc tracks. Than we will run a btcc mod either by weekly or following the wtcc season depending on the amount of interest. Scirroco and 350z were just ideas I but doubt they will make it off the ground. As for the ssr mod try uninstalling all the mods your currently not using and try re installing it, are you extracting it to race 07 folder or dragging and dropping? Not sure why its crashing for you? I might go back and revisit the original btcc mod we had issues with and just eliminate the ai and see how it runs Cheers

Exrtracting to the folder...and yup removed other mods. It is the only weakness to race 07 not having the lite install, a must I think for moddable sims. How about using one of these vintage mods we have? Be a bit different from the norm? I'll try to get that SSR mod running because that other BTCC did have some issues.

Historic GT and Touring, P&G, GT Legends, or the one included...Oh have removed every mod from Race 07 and still SSR crashes...most odd.

Weird? And u have both stcc & stcc 2? Id love to run a historic mod but I don't have Gt legends, and i think there is only 3 or 4 of us that have gtr 2 to run p&g...what's the historic Gt mod run on? Another substitute for btcc is simply running a stcc series tons of good cars and the Swedish ingame tracks are quit beautiful, short and challenging!

Yes I have both. The Historics runs in rF1.

No problems with running STCC, no clashes, the AI should be tuned to the tracks and no downloading (allways a bonus :)

Currently Playing:

Historix runs on rF1 as Knight said...but does require a copy of GT Legends for validation only during install.  Once installed, you don't need the GTL disc again.

Dabbled in GTR2 last night a bit.  The 993 GT2 is a hoot.  Shame it crashes when trying to run multi on triple screens.  Due to that limitaion, PnG will probably get nerfed.  GTL or Historix would be fun.....if enough people had either.  I know Neverender doesn't have rF1, so he would end up missing out if we ran the Historix mod.

Who here DOESN'T have GTL?  I know a lot of people purchased many of the Simbin titles over the holidays on blowout.

No gtl here....

I think stcc is the way to go!  ran all the tracks in a bmw and it was really fun.....after changing the ffb to low all the beemers seem alot easier to manage and easier to catch the back end and hold a slide....pretty sure ill be jumping in one if we go with this series :)

Wanna run a test after wtcc on sat or wait till the following sat?

Ya will run a quick 20 lapper after if I have nothing going on :) Does the Audi a4 come with stcc? I can't remember if i added it or not? There's x bms mod that's compatiable with stcc which is pretty much a merc! I need to see if the stcc 2 cars have the same builds as the stcc if so will have heep loads of cars to pick from :) Loving both the beemer and bms !
