This is a special extend version of our weekly review as many things have been taking place this past week. As we completed a large series in the Global Icons and kicked of two new series this past week with the BTCC and the 80’s Sport Car series. Thanks to the series coordinators for providing some additional details which will be included below.

Global Icon Series Notes
Tonight marks the conclusion of an excellent series and one that will be remembered for some time. After 15 races with 51 drivers across two lobbies, we have 2 well deserved champions. Before we get to that, we need to crown our global icon segment champions. Congrats toJonnyfocus and Track Assassin on the segment wins.
Now for the news we’ve all been waiting for… In the Euro room, congratulations to Jonnyfocus and in the North American Room, Congrats to Track Assassin on overall championship winning performances!

Steward notes:
As this was the first week of racing no action will be taken against any drivers. Please keep in mind the whole FWD v RWD start situation please. Lets try to keep it clean but if it does go wrong please don't shout at each other etc
Road Atlanta and Turn 3 Track Limits
Just so everyone understands the track limits and Turn 3 at Road Atlanta. (Yes I know this is me saying) If any car has all 4 wheels in the area shown as Red below more than 3 times in each race (4, 5 or 6) they will receive a 6 second penalty that will be taken away from there final finishing time. If a driver has all 4 wheels in the area shown as Red below more than 4 times in a race they will be Black Flagged from the offending race but will keep any Handicaps gained.

The Eighties Sports Car Series Notes
Congrats to the winner of tonight's race - DRCxxDRIVEBYxx71
That was the gnarliest race I have Been in yet! The front runners, driveby - Jimenez - Prebuilt, were on the ragged edge for over 50 minutes. Jimeez and driveby battle the whole time to the point where the margin of victory was less than .3 seconds. Sick! Prebuilt had a great run but suffered mechanical problems and dropped out of the race. Sorry Prebuilt, you were running strong. Adikt stepped up and grabbed a podium spot while Snappy and Thane62 battled for a hard fought 4th and 5th spots respectively. Tonyssr came in with his Porsche but due to some poor race car preparation had some minor issues. Still a strong showing for Tony in an unfamiliar car. ;-) Kip and Motörhead rounded out the field but there is no shame there. Both guys fought hard in some ornery cars on an old school, rough and tumble track.
In other 2O4F news!
These past week or so we continued to welcome some new faces to the club as Rex Duffermac, HvClausewitz and greekbull look to hit the track running. Welcome guys!
Our weekly Track Nights continues to have strong turnouts on (Wednesday Night - hosted by gizziegod & Friday Night – hosted by myself) has we run every class (F - R1) at a set track each week. This past week the Euro guys on Wednesday raced at Mugello while the North American guys on Friday headed Nurburgring GP featuring Porsches as the manufacture challenge.
This week the WeeklySaturdaySuperFunEvent (hosted by A TRICOOTERTOPS this week) featured the Porsche vs Ferrari event with cars in the A, S, R3, and R2 classes. These 2 iconic companies went head to head on some of the worlds most iconic and grueling tracks. The racing was rather interesting. Ferrari ended up being the overall King on the event. 3 team based rounds and 1 free-for-all round for the night. Some good racing last night and lots of scraping paint. This week look like it could follow the same formulas the guys head out in the Lambo vs Ferrari event to see if Ferrari can remain the king of the event!
It’s not all about racing though here at 204F, we have our weekly Thursday Night Throwdown (or now known as Hitting Balls with Cars) as we head to the soccer field for some great fun and laughs. A few of us are not hitting the links in Tiger Woods 14 where we get to drive something other than a racecar! Finally with the recent release of GTA-5, some of us have formed our crew and looking to have some fun. A few of us even broke out the Horizon disk this past week and had a good time. Who know, Horizon might be making a come-back as the interest is starting to pick up again. So even though FM4 is still the primary focus here at 2O4F, we still have fun doing other stuff as well.
