For those of you who aren't aware, Doodi made an update to the site the other day. He activated the "auto-subscribe" feature of the site, meaning when you reply to a thread, you will then recieve a pm every time someone reply's the that thread.  Full details can be found in Doodi's blog by clicking here.

You can turn this feature off by clicking the "settings" button up at the top right corner of the page.

Whenever Doodi makes a change or has a major announcement, he posts an alert message that will appear in a big yeloow bar across the top section of the site's pages just beneath the navigation bar.

Please be sure to read these alerts when you see them.

Removal of PM Topics -

First do the following =

1. Top Right click "Settings"

2. Scroll down till you are at your avatar image settings.

3. Underneath the above settings change the following :

Default send method:  = Private Message

Default send interval:  = Immediately

Auto subscribe = Un-Tick

Automatically enable notifications for any groups that I join. = Un-tick

That will stop you receiving PM's from new stuff you post a reply in.

Now to stop PM's Your currently subscribed to.

1. Top Right click "Settings"

2. Click the "Notifications" tab

3. Click the "Subscriptions" tab

4. Remove the subscriptions you don't want to receive a PM from every time someone posts a reply in.

5. Your done. But please not it takes a while for the changes to show.

If you would like to stop all of them do the following.

1. Top Right click "Settings"

2. Click the "Notifications" tab

3. At the bottom click "Cancel all your subscriptions"

4. Click to confirm.

If that still does not work try the following.

1. Top Right click "Settings"

2. Scroll down till you are at your avatar image settings.

3. Underneath the above settings change the following :

Default send method:  = Private Message

Default send interval:  = Weekly

Auto subscribe = Un-Tick

Automatically enable notifications for any groups that I join. = Un-tick
