Another Halo 3 Legendary surprise today....

Have arrived at the place where Johnson and his squad are being held.  After getting Jackal sniped and Brute shotted too many times to count, I noticed that the marker for the Arbiter was off to my right...I thought, "Wait, how'd he get there?"  And then the surprise happened--I saw a pathway leading downward to the dock, WITH ROCKS AND TREES TO HIDE BEHIND.  So, I carefully sniped the Jackals I could, got close enough to Needler the Brute and grunts, *DING* >Checkpoint<.  The rest of the path was Plasma Pistol/BR/Carbine, and got through FINALLY.

I've had this game since release, and it STILL has a few surprises for me!  You see, I've always shot what I could and jumped down to the dock and worked forward from there--is it any wonder I always sucked at multiplayer, not noticing something like this?
