Go to "Settings/Edit".

Scroll down and you'll see the box you can uncheck for Autosubscribe.

Cancel your subscriptions by going to "Settings/Notifications" and click on the cancel link there.

Look in the Login area in the upper left of the page.

Click Settings.

On the new page, click Subscriptions.  For each subscription listed, there should be a clickable link to remvoe/unsubscribe under the Operations column.

That kills the current subscritions.

To turn them off Click the Edit folder tab.  That will bring up your profile.

Scroll down to the Messaging and Notifications settings.

Uncheck the Autosubscribe and Automatically enable checkboxes.

Scroll to the bottom and click Submit.

I think that'll work.
