EA has revealed the release dates for Battlefield 3 Armored Kill, the third downloadable content pack for Battlefield 3. Since PlayStation 3 owners get early access, and so do Premium members, there are several different dates. In fact, there are 4 different release dates for Armored Kill, depending on what platform you play on.
Regular release date: September 25 on PC and Xbox 360 (non Premium)
Regular release date for PS3: September 18 (non Premium)
Premium subscribers on PS3: September 4
Premium subscribers on PC and Xbox 360: September 11.
Yep, it’s just as confusing as it looks. Either way, we’re glad to finally have a solid release date (or 4) for Armored Kill.
AC-130 looks awesome. So much good stuff in the videos from Gamescom (Snow Map, Night Map, Tank Killers, More Tanks, Jihad Four Wheeler of Death, etc...)
i was able to download the updates (183mb and 1.44gb) yesterday - i could then see the new maps and even saw servers running the new maps. I just couldnt join them as it said i was misisng one of the DLC to join the server.... IDK what exactly i was missing.
*EDIT* I didnt see 2fat's post saying that the AK update will be 1.55gb~! damn!
Dude I downloaded it them but I had a major, major Fail.
Like I mentioned in one of the threads before I had to buy a new USB flash drive to handle more memory. So I formatted the new USB and copied the old stuff into the new one. Seemed fine. Into a week with the new USB I get and error saying I need a storage device to save BF3. Like WTF. It said my Flash Drive wasn't formatted. I tried to see if I could find anything on my laptop but nothing. The drive lost a lot of saved games and new Rock Band songs. So I re-formatted it, saved the new Patch and yesterday when I tried to log on same shit happen. Drive was unreadable. The USB was the same brand except larger capacity, and with the precious one I never had any issues at all. So I'm pretty much fucked, with the content I lost.
I thought I read Sept 4th for premium. Maybe they jumped the gun on the forum. Oh well,......
