if i understand correctly i would like to run in Super Class with the Audi S4.
is there a fixed Forza P.I. or does the P.I. vary according to build and tune.?
do we need to run preapproved car numbers or can we use our own ?
Hi Supernovadad
The PI will vary dependeding on build but you must have a roll cage and drag tires. The wieght can not go below 3064lbs, the HP can not go past 370 BHP, and the Lateral G's must be 1.03 or less.
I think we need to use the race number that we have signed up with. For example my number is 94.
I hope this helps!
If you want to do some practice stuff send me a message on Xbox Live and I will run with you.

Thanks Kraigger :) The lateral g's are show imeadiatly after you have selected a tyre upgrade, or any upgrade i think
I'm all signed up, I will stick with the Leon in Inter class. My only hope is that there is someone out there who is slower than me in the Inter class. Has Parcells signed up yet? :)
Gonna go Eagle Talon. It's a little heavy, but still managed a 2:10 flat on lap 2 so I know there's more in her. Still need to tinker with tune, but only fine tuning now.
It will select the class based on the engine capacity, So I've completed your entry :D
Also,
What would you guys prefer for the qualifying format? a or b
a) Collisions + sim dmg on, laps can get dirtied. Fastest laptime at the end of the race is recorded.
Observations: You have to find a clean bit of track, keep the times clean and avoid getting held up or holding up others. Similar to real world qualifcations. Drafted times are okay, but you could loose it with a clean time (stupid forza) or a clean time may not get overwritten by a slightly faster dirty time. Better for replays and live streaming.
b) Collisions off, sim dmg on. Laps are only dirtied by player leaving the circuit.
Observations: Just hammer it for 10 laps, keep it clean and record the fastest time you can. Cars are shadows and not great for live streaming or recording. Less invovled, not as fun(?) but alot less frustrating.
Personally, i'd like to take my chances with (a) because it would be fun to try and manage a gap/time whilst keeping out the way of any faster cars :D

I went back and re-read the thread to understand how qualifying will be run. Per A above?
So the object is to get yourself in clean air and put down the fastest clean lap in a 20 lap run?
Just looking to clairfy the basic strategy. Still pretty new to how this all works.... ;)

That is pretty much it, I open the room and set it to "compare best lap score" its then a free for all to get your best times :)
I think 20 laps is too much for the qualifying though, so I'm going to drop that down a bit. This will help me keep it inside the replay length and allow people to watch the other group easier.
Ultimately, its a hot lap - your best time determines your overall position and if you will end up in group A or B :)

I think you should run it with collisions off so the only dirty laps will be if you go off the track.
I was thinking that it would be the most amount of fun, partly because it really is going to be tactical but mostly because you really have to be aware of your surrondings and others who are on for a flier :D
I can't paint so I picked up a livery from a store front. Does the number mater?
I know I will run Club class. Tried a few cars, but keep coming back to the BMW 2002-T. It has been the most stable, consistent lap times for me. 8 out of 10 laps in 2:16s. Slow but steady :)
Last night I quickly built the Alpha 155 as I was curious. I turned a few 2:14s and several low :15s. It certianly is quicker than the BMW.
I wouldn't mind someone taking a look over the BMW and offer some feedback as well. I just assumed I gift the tune? or do I gift the car to have someone look at it?
Using the KISS principle .... I'm begining to think I should grab a ready to race ride and just practice.... It would be nice to try a properly tuned car and verify my turtle like times are in fact a proper reflection of my driving skills. How does one go about getting one?

I'd be happy to knock up a 2002 turbo for you, i'll also drop you a replay with a lap or two.
Pap, my partner in crime has build the alfa and its too quick for us to run (we have no interest in blowing the competition away) but it may suit you well and be a more rewarding car :)
Look through the thread for available cars from PTR & ALS. Then just contact the appropriate person (Tourni for PTR, kreigger76 for ALS) and they will get with you for testing builds. Easy as pie!
@POIDSLY Thanks! Always good to know if I've gotten off track.
@Tourni6 I'd like to give those rides a try if you don't mind. A replay is nice as well as they are quite instructional as to entry speeds and lines in general. I generally lean toward RWD but was supprised at how nice the alpha handled. Being able to still see tail lights on the first lap will be encouraging enough for me :)

Send me a FR, and I'll send the Alfa over tonight.
Alfa sent. I may tinker with gearing and resend later.
Received. Thanks!
I ran 20 or so laps last night with the last 5 or so in the low 2:13's. 2:12.7 best lap. Stability on direction change was something my build didn't have. It really made a difference for me once on a good line, I was able to maintain it better. I found myself making inconsistant gear changes. More wheel time on my part and purhaps some gear tinkering should improve that.

alright i will send you a friend request on forza and eventually get together.
where do i go to sign up ?
on the first page there is a link that says (enter here) but it does not work in my case.
as far as car number i usually go with #12 in all the series i race in and would prefer to continue doing the same

thats fast pap, i got KC`s 155 round in a low 2.09ish
Oh man, that car is UGLY! Variety is good though :D
That will just give you more incentive to try and stay ahead of me ;)
Or reshape it for you :D
Lastly, Can people please select their divisions, its first come first served.
So if you are planning on running the inter class, then there are only four slots left!
AVAIL DIV REQUIRED SELECTED FREE SPOTS
CLUB 10 4 6
INTER 10 6 4
SUPER 10 3 7
TOTAL 30 13 17
Can't seen to pick my class on the sheet. Would like to run inter and in the golf
