Team Atlantic LS has openings for drivers. One of the cars to choose from is a Lancia Delta. If you are interested send me a PM.
Mark, you should try to get in on this.
Message sent.
What do you think the chances are that Mark reads (or knows about) PMs?
Parcells can assure kraigger that Xxsitement would love to represent Team Atlantic. He's been working on a Lancia all day with minimal progress poor bastard LOL.
Xxsitement is an up and coming racer desparately trying to gain that 0.5 second his best friend Parcells has on him in every race we've ever run together going back...we'll go with a long time. He'll deny that of course in a cry for help and he may not finish on the podium but your preciously built car will be ready for another race because Xxsitement will take care of it as the field passes him by
Then again, if or when he reads this he may just practise the hell out of it and grab a podium just for spite, he's like that.

I'll PM him. He does at least have that much figured out.
I don't know why I'm looking out for the wanker.....he went and beat me with my own tune in Race 2 this weekend.

I appreciate all the help. If Team Atlantic is looking for someone to represent the back of the field, I'm their driver.
I did spend a few hours yesterday, tuning and painting, painting not my thing neither. How can you tranfer photo's from storefront to pc or forum.
3. From my Forza account, you can view & save your pics to your pc. Once you have saved them to a PC, use a pic hosting site such as Flickr, Photobucket, etc to to upload to the web.
4. Use the "Share" link (inside Flickr) to post the pic in the forums.
It's a bit convoluted and a small hassle, but it's not overly difficult once you do it a couple times.

Parcells has been trying for quite some time to gain the 0.5 to 1 second I have on him. God bless him he never gives up.
Question about Tourni's vid: The lap times you state are they set in the cars on the vid? If so JDankert obliterated my time with the R34 by about 3 full seconds!

Nah, they are fake - just put there to give a real grid sort of feel to it :)
One question I still have, what if you have a car that's already in a higher grouping because of HP, but you can't get the engine size into the required range.
Then it does not qualify I believe. Needs to not exceed the BHP limit and must have a displacement in the range for that class. So a car with a displacement maxed at 2000cc (club) and BHP of over 220 but less than 290 (inter)disqualifies it from both classes.
Of course T can give the definitive answer.

Thanks for those cars Tourni. Both better than what I had managed. Also went back to the fiat as I noticed something about your builds.
Surprising result. Significantly faster.
What is a properly competitive inter time? Church?
It is very technical and really rewards car control, with silverstone you need to control lift off oversteer, curbs, power oversteer and braking into a corner.
Listen to the throttle on the demo lap and watch how i apply it in different ways (some times soft, change gear without throttle at one point, reduce it slightly to get the nose to dip etc)
I need your help! Since I’ve got the BMW M3 1991 tune (! Thank you Tourni !) (same car in our club’s garage) I am trying to get one damned good time at Silverstone!
During the EUSL race I lost nearly 8 seconds. Well, now some weeks later, with some practice I managed to close the lap only a little.
I understand that the most of you are able to drive 2.05’s with a britcar. I am not. I tried following car’s:
Class A - EUSL IV Scirocco - 2.08.365
Class A - BMW M 3 Tourni - 2.14.097
Class A - EUSL IV S 2000 - 2.15.504 !
Class A - Clio RS 7 - 2.14.313 !
Class A - Megane RS - 2.16.037 !
Class A (600) - Nissan 370Z - 2.04.799
You see my problem! It is nearly 10 seconds big.
I looked at Tourni’s lap (video post in the Britcar thread) and learnend the next things about this ….. well, I hate it, to be honest ……. Silverstone.
It would be top, if someone can take a ride with that BMW M3 at Silverstone and make a video of it and upload it to his storefront, so I can look and learn.
May be it would be good, if a tuner will look at the tune. For me that car has a tendency to oversteer and if it is sliding it is “unstoppable”. It is very fast at the start, but breaking is tricky. I can’t say wether it is as fast as it has to be, to be competive.
If you send me the car over jdan I will tune then do a lap in that car for you.
Only the super class cars will get below 2:05 mark. you are looking at doing 2:06 - 2:08 in the intermidiate cars.
Dont forget though. I doesnt really matter what times you get as you will be grouped with 4 other people that are doing the same times-ish as you.
So pick a car you LIKE and have fun :)
Yeah i'll sort them out for you steviegers - They are the two i sent to poidsly.
Jdankerrt, If the BMW is braking loose then you are being too agressive with the car, smooth out the throttle and brakes. You cannot be agressive with drag tyres, once they loose grip under lateral load you wont get it back very easily at all. They have a large amount of forward traction, so they really reward the smoothness - you'll see that in the throttle application of the golf. Also, make sure its the latest tune i've sent to Poidsly, its much tighter than the test tune.
The RWD lines are not much different, infact you can get much tighter with the car.
If you still don't get any luck then i'll run with you on a practice session.

1. Save photo to your storefront (sounds like you are already there).
2. Create MyForza account. http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/profile.aspx

Correction. Parcells gave up on that dream long ago...aaannnnnddddd go fuck yourself!

lmao :D
yes, 1.02 is allowed :)
More than happy to send that tune over, i'm going to have a look for more RWD inter cars tomorrow :)
I should think that it would be a pretty decent car, I'll tune that up :)
I will give that a try, thanks Helios
We on tonight?
Ok. Now live on FM.net
Racers Lounge.

Will head over now to say hi.
One question I still have, what if you have a car that's already in a higher grouping because of HP, but you can't get the engine size into the required range.
That is correct :)
Glad they helped Poidsly, Inter class should be aiming for around 2.06.x . Both tunes I sent were able to do that :)
+1 on that, I have always found it to be the hardest track to get right.

If anyone wants me to play with there tunes a little just send the car over and I will have a look.
