No idea what to expect just passing along the info.

Not really a leak, but ad-agency mumbo jumbo. BTW, that's from 11/12. So a long time ago relatively speaking.
Looking forward to the reveal.
I wonder which Bungie is working on this game?
The H2/H3 Bungie or the Reach Bungie?
Destiny is cross platform, Xbox, Playstation, and PC. It wil also be approaching new console launch title status if it's coming out this year.
herp derp
I've read this sentence a few times and I don't quite understand it.
So, wait and buy.
is it me or doesn't this seem soon? I mean I guess Reach came out in 2010, so 2013 isn't a stretch. And they probably had design ideas before then.
From the IGN video, seems like this is a campaign game. I think they may be out of the competitive MP business.
So definitely wait for reviews. I'm still not even sure what kind of game this is. All I've heard is it handles like Halo.
I read somewhere that they started on it as far back as Halo ODST. I think it was a tweet o something linking a image to the Destiny logo in game in ODST.
My guess that this will either be a MMO FPS or RPG FPS with a seperate MM.
For Activision I think the Holy Grail would be a FPS-MMO that combines an addictive COD MP experience with a subscription/transaction based revenue stream of WoW. Although I agree with DEEP that if this is limited to current hardware it might be just a basic FPS. If this was solely a PC/PS4/Xbox720 then I'd lean more towards the FPS-MMO. I guess we will know more on Sunday. :)
I can't see Bungie dropping Halo to work on another FPS game for this current gen consoles. I would think this has next-gen written all over it, especially considering Bungie hinted at this being a HUGE undertaking and perhaps a risk.
Granted, this big "reveal" may be anything from a teensy bit of real info to an all-out assault on our senses, but probably something in the middle. Just enough info to get people talking and specualting, while giving enough hype to get the train rolling.
I really need something to look forward to playing, so I hope Bungie has something really good up their sleeves.
Well if the contract remains true and accurate as told by the LA Times in this article the first game in the Destiny IP will be for the 360, with following games release on pretty much anything under the sun.
I honestly haven't been following this at all. I guess sometime previously some concept art was released. I certainly would not mind a class based MP with vehicles (aka Battlfield Space edition). Pretty impressive, not sure how close the game will be, but certainly intreguing:
Battlefield Space? tardcat.jpg.
nobody does a reveal like Bungie. they run the hype train as good as anyone in any industry. I look forward to seeing a ame they are passionate about.
I see a buble sheild...lol
I could swear I heard someone with first hand knowledge say it was close to RPG-FPS so im kinda expecting something Borderlands or Far Cryish in space.
I'll be disappointed if this isn't a flagship game for the next XBOX. If it only lives up to the 360 hardware it will be a let down...
Halo 2 was one of the last big titles released on the Xbox. Looks bad comparably to what the 360 launched, but was a wonderful game, campaign ending aside.
I'm still waiting for them to do PIgs in Space.

Looks like what I imagined it would be. Something for everyone. Money in the bank. Although competitive Pro FPS capabilty may be included, it sure doesn't sound like it out of the box. Adventures, customise your character, weapons and vehicles. Sounds like casual-ville. Ideally suited to people like .... me. ;)
Man, that last part is obviously a typo. It should say that it's got "...casual multiplayer modes...", right?
Crap, the sarcasm got too deep. Now I can't tell any more.
