Fanatec Wheel with Thrustmaster TH8RS Shifter

Is anyone in the group using this combination? I found a YouTube clip of a fella who makes an adapter that makes this possible without taking apart either piece of equipment.

I use that combination with my Fanatec CSR Elite wheel and Thrustmaster TH8RS shifter while playing Forza and it works great with the BasherBoards SFA-1. Very easy to setup and use. No disassembly of anything required.

If you want to wait, Fanatic now display images of the new CSShifter and said its due in Q1 2013 ... It looks like a right piece of kit... It's massive! :)

Mind you, they also said the F1 elite was due for Xmas, that my csr elite etc would arrive before Xmas too... so im not sure you should really bank on their word ... Never the less the CSShifter looks really nice. It's basically the CSW base cut in half and filled with a H pattern shifter box :) it's gigantic!

thanks but I'm going to go with Bash's setup. He's a good guy and makes a great product. That th8rs is really nice too. Also, I'm sure Bash's customer support is much better than Fanatec's. like the guys said. Support our own! Lol

I thought I should mention this as well... The TH8RS just dropped in price just about everywhere by about $30. You can get it at Amazon and even Walmart.com for $115.

As for support. I can confidently say... I can't be beat. ;)

I agree ... I'm still waiting for products that they have in stock and I have paid for lol :)

How much would your converter cost plus shipping to the UK? Just out of curiosity? In UKP... I might grab one if I can find a cheap th8.

The cheapest I can find the shifter here is £100 which is $161 which already is close to my limit for a shifter :( how about selling the shifter and the converter together, and postinging it to the uk.. Would you consider that? If so What's the best you could do For that package deal :)

I bought my TH8RS from them and had it shipped to the US for under $100. They sometimes go on sale which may only last for a day. When I got it, it was under 60 GBP.

I been rocking the th8rs shifter with my rig since my birthday, c/o Basherman. Love it. feels fantastic, love the adjustable tension. Also went ang got my own shifter knob for it. :-)

I also have the csr elite with th8 rs shifter . I use the interfaceone shifter pcb board. I believe he is no longer making them. It works perfectly. Either way you will definitly enjoy using the shifter with your wheel. See you on the track!

As a reminder, this is the one I sell:

It requires no external power supply, just the supplied USB cable connected to your xbox or even a USB cell charger. It also comes in the pictured enclosure of course. It also has firmware that can be easily upgraded by the end user.

Snappy, I recently won a THR8S shifter and so I placed an order for the SFA adapter. I plan to mount the THR8S to my Playseat and use it as an H shifter. I already have one THR8S, which I have mounted to my Rennsport wheel stand and which I use as a sequential with my T500RS wheel.

Guys. If you have a wheel GET THIS SHIFTER AND BASHEMAN'S ADAPTER. It is awesome!! Unbelievable realistic and infinitely adjustable. I got Bash's adapter and it works like a charm.

Im so F'ing excited!! This thing is unbelievably awesome and works perfectly.

Basherman and Basherboards Rule!!!!!!
