I've never been a big fan of any of the campaigns. Reach was my favorite, but overall I felt they where kinda boring. I'm hoping for something different this time around. I would love to see some RPG elements in the game.
I'll be disappointed if 5 fails to move forward the story.
If they cop out with some sort of flashback or paralell story line or if they try to radically change the format of Halo's balance of campaign and multi-player with some sort of additional content (eg: firefight, spartan ops or new iteration thereof) I'd be quite frankly shocked. The IP is a franchise. For all the good and bad things that come with that one thing I think is off the table is throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Bold/Not So Bold Predictions:
-5 will be an FPS with Campaign and MP elements that look very familiar.
-Forge, Theater, Spartan Ops/Firefight may see tweaks enabled by XBone tech but they will also be recognizable.
-Innovation is much more likely on second-screen experiences, social tools etc. I'd like to think they learned something from the travesty that is the Waypoint experience and they figure out some way to tighten that up and get us back to levels of functionality that we had with Reach.
I'll be disappointed if 5 fails to move forward the story.

-Dixon will continue to suck.
