Wait, you FINALLY broke down and read the novels?! You might want to pick up Ghost of Onyx just to have read the full story arc. It's good times to be a Halo Fanboy!
Just those starting with the 343i take over. No current intension of reading olders titles.
Sorry for getting your hopes up.
Wow, if you've read Glasslands, you NEED to read Ghosts of Onyx.
And seriously, for such a huge Halo fan, how could you not read any of the other books? Especially the Eric Nylund books...
I am a huge Halo 'game fan. All of my interest is with the game's fiction. Now that 343i has complete control, the written and game fiction link better and I needed something to pass my time before Halo 4.
Seriously, dude. The Nylund books are awesome. If nothing else, read Fall of Reach. Damn good origin story.
I think the art of the serial has been lost forever.
I'm glad something finally happened but I was hoping for something as visually interesting as the Landfall video or as compelling as the ODST Trailer and so far this just been glacial set-up and a commercial for Microsoft Surface.
I couldn't care less about this wheezy nerd and his butt-ugly girlfriend. The rain of bodies was pretty cool though. Here's hoping for more dead cadets.
Yeah, the books are surprisingly good. I have to throw in a mention for Evolutions - a book collection of short stories. There are a number of good ones in it, but The Mona Lisa is really really good, IMHO.
EDIT: and maybe it's just me, but the Greg Bear ones are just not good or engaging at all. IMHO.
Glasslands and ghosts are probably may favs so far. Just finished cryptum and i am a little confused on the orgins stuff with the diadict and flood. I thought i had an understanding but then started reading primordium and i think i am lost. will have to see when i am done with this book if it makes any more sense.
I like the Karen Traviss books. Her style of writing always keeps my curiosity peeked. Her Gears books were great as well. As for Greg Bear's material.... it could use some work. The first one he wrote was ok but, reading the second one, I always felt a little lost.
Can someone explain what happens between 15:04 and 15:05?
I don't see anything unusual. He's getting ready for Cryo and fiddling with the piece of Hunter and the dog tags. He still has physiological side effects with Cryo.

Look at his outfit. It turns from his blue officer suit to that white outfit instantly.

It was a pretty quick transition, but not out of place.
Just watched the whole thing this morning, and I'm pumped for the game. And seriously sad that there will never be a Blomkamp Halo movie...
You can watch theater in Reach, there was that game where I teabagged you...I could watch that again.

Added Episode 4 to OP.
Part 4! Whoa!
Hell Yea! That was awesome, cant wait until next week!

I'm pleasantly surprised about how good this is. Based on this and the Reach 'Deliver Hope' short, I think they could do a really good movie.
This show is ten times better than I expected it to be. Absolutley awesome!
Big ass hunter in the background at the end there! Someone's gonna get smashed against a tree.
I do find MC a little comical because he is so big! I wonder how he does with the ladies?

I don't know, still seems crazy to me.gif)
The reason I read all those Halo books in the first place was because I loved the game's fiction.

That was pretty damn good. I'd pay for a movie ticket.
