Is there a way to turn down the in game volume so that I can hear my team mates better? I have an old set of Trittons and I can't figure out a way. Is it time for a new head set? If so, what headsets have this feature?
Couldn't find it in game. Most games have it in game but dangled if I could find it in this game. This could just give me an excuse to break down and buy me some Astros.

Turtle Beach headsets also allow you to control voice independently over game, so you don't have to specifically get Astros.
That's not to say I wouldn't buy Astros if I had money to burn, but I don't so I didn't...

Have you tried lowering the game volume thru the dashboard? Hit the guide button, go to preferences, you can adjust the game volume and the voice chat volume in the same section. It'll also allow you have voice output on headset, speakers or both.... Hope this helps!

this what i was going to suggest.
my daughters headset doesn't adjust independantly. i set the xbox volumes to work with her's, then adjust my TB's accordingly to work for me.
It should be in the options menu in the game, I believe. Otherwise the Astro Mixamp lets you adjust the chat voice independently.
+1 for the Astros, I have the A30's and the wireless amp. Not cheap, but they work great.

I need to give that a try tonight before I drop a load on some Astros. Though they have been calling my name for some time now.
