Get your popcorn out - End Game updates

Figured I would let everyone know that the BF3 End Game update is 2 parts..the first is 1.9GB the second is 1.73GB.  Better get your popcorn out to enjoy the download, cause its gunna be a long update.

I'll start it up when I go home from work. Then feed the kids and put them and the wife to bed. Hopefully it should be ready by then.

This sounds like a good plan...

Played it for a while:

AS - not for me, just like flying into a shit storm of HS and planes

CTF - Camp the objectives

CQ - new maps seem nice, but the spawn rate on vehciles are stupid.  I think i'll stick with originals :)

AS is difficult if you dont have any of the advanced unlocks... but you CAN get points in the jets by just capturing the points. So this is a good way to lvl up those jets!

CTF - hands down the most fun from the new maps.  Ill admit, its pissed me off as the flag carrier to have my own team shoot at me cause they dont know who to kill.  FYI - your flag has to be at your spawn for you to sucessfully capture the flag.  Go after your flag if it isnt at your spawn.  :)

CQ - new maps are fun.  Still learning them, but I agree that vehicles are everywehere and if your not an engineer or have c4 then you got nothing.

I think Aftermath map packs were some of the best infantry based maps... End Game is more like what the 2nd update should have been..

Im enjoying the new update so far... cant wait for some CLAN night with PPC!

I agree (sort of)

AS isn't really my bag, so i guess i wouldn't really like it from the off.  However, i will use it to level up the jet :)

With CTF, the 2/3 games i joined consisted of each team sitting at the flag in Jeeps, tanks and people camping in the buildings.  Whilst a few from each team tried to run for the flag, i should think that this may be fun for me in a party.  Just found the solo play very much like run and die as there wasn't enough people to attack effectively. (people don't want to hurt their precious KD :) )

CQ - Agree, really focused on the engineers.  Helicopters spawn in seconds  so AA will bag you alot of kills :)

I guess i enjoy more of a balanced mix of infantry and vehicles, its not to say i dislike this. Just preffer the other.

agreed... IDK why the spawn times of the vehicles is so high or seems fast, but it is.  I am looking forward to some good strategy with CTF, cause you're right, you get on team Timmy and you are going to lose every time!

Last night we had a few of us working together, it made a HUGE difference to the game.    So much so that three of us racked up a Ban when we turned the tide of a game :D

Team work is really needed for CQ, a couple of us in tanks enabled us to dominate the maps.  Steal the enemy chopper or keep it grounded and your team will kick some serious ass :D

Guided missiles of sorts work really well here, air and ground.

Enjoyed it alot more, I like the pipeline map and riverside the most!

I agree team work is essential for CTF. At least one squad needs to defend.

I racked up serious amounts of mine kills last night. I reckon it wont be long before we see "no mine" servers popping up.  Also javelin is awesome against the dirtbikes. With all the antiair measures now there really is no point getting in a chopper anymore.

Havent played AS yet.
