[GT6] Trouble getting the golds

Hi guys this is really just a topic for those who are having a tough time getting the gold and sharing any ideas, for example.....

I am currently having a tough time getting the gold on grand valley for the red bull x series, I have tried a number of ways of driving and without the ability to tune this car (as it's a rental) I can't blame it on the tune, so therefore I have to swallow the bitter pill and accept I am unable to drive as well as most of you. I understand that gt6 is very different to forza and the like and have tried the slow in fast out approach, the crazy smash your way through approach and throwing the thing as fast as I can round the track but can only get to the silver :( 

So in all Gentlemen, Sirs, Peasents and everyone else (take your pick which group you put yourselves in) this is a plea for help before the whole lot goes out the window :)
