Halo 4 - Only Release date remake outed - Ragnarok/Valhalla - Video added
Please keep in mind this is still kind of sketchy info.
Cyren on NeoGAF and The Halo Council probably has outed the name of the single remake.
Ragnarok = Valhalla

Be still my heart if that is true!
They could do worse for remaking a big map. They could remake Sidewinder.
Which is what Longbow reminds me of.
Hooray!
Is it going to be a forged map or a true remake? I know they said no forge map will be in MM, but they also said no remakes. Vahalla is a good choice, good vehicle map and jet packs won't break it.
They always said most maps would be new. Confusing the issue was, when. I thought the first 10 would all be new but that was wrong. Only one of the first 10 is a remake.
343i definitely said no Forge variants in MM at release, so if this rumour is true, then this can't be a Forged remake.
We are still waiting on two of the Forged environments maps. We also have not been told if any of them would be available on release day. I expect they will be.

Hooray!!
BEST. MOVE. EVER.
Best move would have been Standoff. ;)
either one would have worked for me. both maps support 4-8 man teams with balanced game play that included long range to CQC. what more could you ask for?
Exile looks promising for Standoff type gameplay. Small enough to shoot effectively across the map, large enough to still incorporate vehicles.
Olaberas did a great remake of that map
I figured either Standoff or Valhalla, but I was leaning more towards Standoff. It would've been cool to have that one back. Good for clan games. Valhalla is cool, though.
Valhalla remake unofficially confirmed.

sweet!
would like to have seen more, but that was cool.
Mantis is playable on at least Ragnarok.

I was looking for the Mantis on the Halo wiki and found this -
http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Type-27_Anti-Aircraft_Cannon
The Type-27 Anti-Aircraft Cannon,[2] nicknamed the "Mantis", is a Covenant ground-based stationary anti-aircraft battery emplacement. It fires bolts of plasma that are extremely damaging. A single round can shoot down a GA-TL1 Longsword-class Interceptor and possibly even destroy a UNSC frigate with ease.
In the Halo 3 level The Storm, the main objective is to destroy the Mantis in Voi so that Lord Hood can start attacking the Prophet of Truth's Dreadnought.
According to this, the Mantis is a stationary anti-aircraft cannon. The new vehicle we see on Ragnarok is clearly NOT stationary, so I'm a bit confused here because this is much different from the Mantis in Halo 3.
