Halo books
Well somehow I didn't realize they came out with a few new books. So with Halo 4 coming out today I started reading Glasslands last night. This first chapter makes me feel like I need to go back and reread Ghost of Onyx to get caught up. :(
FWIW - I still have a copy of The Fall of Reach if anyone wants it - for free of course! But yes I've read most of the books as well. I decided to read Cryptum and Primordium to learn about the Forerunners before playing H4.
Thanks for the idea Lou, I hadn't thought about looking them up on wiki. Downloaded from what I can tell the rest of the Halo series last night. Reading Glasslands now, Thursday war next, then I switch to the forerunner triology.
What are all the books to date and what is the best order to read them in?
I have 2... First Strike and The Flood
Well, first off, you need to read the Fall of Reach
As for order I'd go....
Fall of Reach
The Flood
First Strike
Ghosts of Onyx
Glasslands
The Thursday War
I didn't think Contact Harvest and The Cole Protocol were as good as the books listed above... You can read those whenever. But if you want to go by the order in the Halo timeline (and not release date) you can read these 2 books before Fall of Reach
Haven't read Cryptum or Primordium (Those take place well before the events in any of the other listed books)
