Halo Bootcamp. Not a rumour.
But what is it, other than confirmed? http://www.gamefront.com/halo-bootcamp-outed-on-korean-ratings-board-ms-confirms/

And this from Frankie. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=59100033&postcount=62
Something Frankie has always wanted to do? My loins are girded in anticipation for swords that shoot Scorpion rounds.
Nah, I'm mostly joking. So muc speculation on what it could be, though.
AR and dual-wield SMG starts!
If only.
The lnked article was updated. Seems to be talking about a third person Halo game. This could be referencing that earlier rumor that there was a squad based Halo coming out on a different story than just Chief and Cortana. It could be true, but could it be fun?
Deep, gameplay mechanics aside, how do you feel about 343 having Halo games release between 4 and 5, and 5 and 6, that have different characters? What if they use it to flesh out the universe and its story besides the events surrounding Chief alone? What if it is similar to Quantum Break and leverages all Xbox One is pushing to have a Halo game tied to a Halo show that impact each other?
How do you feel about such things? Do you think 343 should do that, especially considering console life cycle length and that this trilogy only has two games left?
If it is like the release of ODST/Halo CE Anniversary, there's a useless campaign title (it's gotta be the third-person squad shooter, right?) and the oft-rumored Halo 2 remake we've got coming before we even get a whiff of Halo 5.
I like the idea of expanding the story with new characters. While I haen't seen the show nor played the game, Defiance is an example of the two forms of media uniting for a continuing story. Halo exists across the games, books, comic books, a live action movie (Forward Unto Dawn,) and an animated movie (Halo Legends) so I think a TV series could be great. I was so happy when The Walking Dead was made into a TV series instead of a movie because a series can cover more ground more expeditiously than a movie trilogy, so I am optimistic about the Halo series.
I don't have problems with playing the campaigns, but do have issues with watching campaign footage sometimes, even mine LOL.
Oh PDZ was the worst! Get nauseous just thinking about it lol!
Even I had a bit of a headache from the game. I don't get motion sickness from games, never really have, but that one got a headache started after a while playing it.
Its many faults aside, one thing I did like was the zooming had different magnification levels based on how far in the zoom trigger was pulled. I'd like to see it done again, or at least games making use of more than not pressed, and full pressed, trigger states.
A problem with that though was the zoom would slip between different amounts because there was no way to tell how close you were to zooming too far or too little based on the trigger itself :)
Also, I'm hoping this Halo game if it is a third person squad based whatever, won't make heavy use of chest high walls.
Lol@ migraines without spouse's influence
The only game that has ever game me a migraine while playing was Bulletstorm. If I played it longer than 1 hour in a single sitting, BAM!, migraine. It was a great game too, so I had to play it in 30-45 minute sections, save, and come back to play again a few hours later. Rinse, lather, repeat.
but why would you lather water?
