meh. I really have no idea what to expect at this point.
I hope I will be able to access Halowaypoint via my android phone on some type of app (either smart glass or halowyapoint one) but I am setting the bar low and assume it will not. Fingers crossed hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.
CSR sounds like BS if everything isn't simply win/loss as in past games. It's like "Arena" but expanded for other playlists. Basically, if you give a shit-don't help team shoot.

To be fair, Arena in Reach did start out rating you based on your solo performance in the game. This was changed in later Seasons to win/loss only.
I'm not sure what to expect either - or even if I really care since I'll have to break away from the game to check my CSR. I figure at the most, I'll check my CSR in the mornings after a night of play.
Sounds interesting, I'm actually in favor of individual CSR in the Infinity gametypes since they are so randomized with ordinance. Good to see a Rumble Pit gametype coming as well.
Interested to see how this shakes out, maybe I can finally get that 50! :)
Note to self - when playing infinity/slayer gametypes, do as I did in the early seasons of Arena: wait until teammate pops enemy's shield and steal the kill, or wait until enemy kills teammate and clean up the kill. It's ridiculous that some team based games are going to rely on individual effort alone. Another swing and a miss by 343.
CSR only on waypoint is pointless. If I can't see it in the actual lobby then it's useless to me.
I'll plus one on that. I would turn on public chat just to hear people in H3 get all scared when a General was in the room...I was never a General but it was fun to hear the Timmies cry!
I actually like it. I would always get a mental block when playing high-ranked people in H3 and find myself getting nervous/sloppy in-game as a result. Hopefully the Truskill rating creates good matches so I can play against similarly skilled people and just eventually end up with a 50...

Isn't CSR already being calculated by playlist already? Aren't they just showing us what is under the hood?
Yes, but to keep people playing they will be resetting the CSR to zero

why care about a 50 that no one else can see?
Because I've already had a couple 50's and onyx. No need to brag anymore :)
It's a personal milestone, I honestly don't care if anybody notices.
Fixed.
