House of Wolves Announced May 19th

Looks like Lvl 30 gear will have an upgrade path.

No raid is a bunch of bs.  Very disappointing. 

I'm ok with the no Raid, they said they would release a new one later, just a question of if it will have a price tag or be free content.  Never really do Raids anyway because of the time commitment needed.  Depends on how the Arena is set-up.  Sounds like it might be a slightly more complex version of firefight from Reach.  The 3 player limit is disappointing.  Everything but raids is limited to 3 man teams already for PvE.  Need some more larger group activities other than running PvP or Raid.

Can anyone explain to me how this is different from The Dark Below?

A 365 Fatebringer is worth a smile.... : )  And, there'll be another incentive for running the VoG on hard. I love firefight.

No HoW raid is weird though. We're thinking that there was a problem with it that hasn't been worked out yet.
