Had a great time Sat pm/Sun am. 
The last race of the eve was a stock car F class on Fujimi. 10 + miles. The only problem wasn't the Full sim Damage (which I love) or the fact that he chose the Chevy Volt ( that is dirt quiet) but that I forgot to put the speedometer back on and had to do the whole mountain trip not knowing when to shift because the F*****G car doesn't really whine when you get to the redline. 
I had to literally drive blind in the shift dept. And driving without in game music because I love to listen to the sound of the engine (which there wasn't any) 
made the whole thing a torture exercise.
And he forgot to set the end of race timer for more than 30 secs. 
So I got a DNF too. I will get my revenge. I may not win the races or be able to block you(because I'm always behind you). But I am planning your doom. http://youtu.be/FcFlp6kl508

The Chevy Volt has a CVT (Constant Velocity Transmission), so when using that car you should always select automatic transmission and you will get much better results.
Unfortunately I figured that out after the race started and it was too late to change.
Sort of like insanerc putting in Full Sim Damage (which I love!) and not telling us until someone hits you. 
Not me, of course because I never hit anyone. 
yeah, or Constant Velocity Joint...a bit different...
