It's Duncan here, tag Zebedee7. As a lapsed member of the Euro group I've finally bitten the bullet and shelled out for the full Fanatec setup. And, after 4 hours constructing an oversized Mechano set - a.k.a CSL Seat EU - I now remember why I chose office work as a career path...
I'm working out of Dublin at the moment, probably now through until summer '13, while I usually live in Southern Spain. As I've been out here most of this year I've now managed to get new apartment with 100/20mb cable connection, so I'm back onto a Gold membership.
If there's space, could I get an invitation back into the European Club?
Welcome Lee, but dont get too comfortable. We do have lots of tuners and helpful people around here but we also have some arseholes and Parcells plays one of them. I'll be watching you so keep it low profile initially before you feel comfortable with outright insults directed towards the great members of 2O4F. You'll be notified as we see fit on the status of your application.
Welcome guys, don't mind parcells - he's one of the resident nuts. You'll soon bump into fitzy, that is probably the point in which you should be worried. :D
Welcome guys as Tourni said don't mind Parcells his bark is worse than his bite, well on track anyway as he is our resident Sunday driver, he will get to the finish but it could take a while. As for me I will get to the finish with just a little paint from other cars on mine. Jump into some of the events you are bound to run into Parcells and myself and then you can judge for yourselves.
It was kind of rude for Tourni to label us as troublemakers wasn't it Fitzy? Whereas your delusional perception of our relative racing skills is just as perplexing.

Regarding your first point I agree, as for your second point I think I have clarified our relative racing skills on the track often enough.
Hi guys, my name is Kent Bergstrom I am 56 years old and live in Sweden, I have competed online in Nascar4 and Grand Prix Legends on PC for about 10 years ago, has now purchased an X-Box and Forza 4 to look forward to more relaxed racing with like-minded people online, one question, is there any tutorial how everything works, rules, etc.?
Hi guys, Sam here, 37 years young in the UK (Basingtoke), looking forward to learning how to improve my rather average skills, especially when racing other human beings :) The driver tuition sounds very interesting indeed.
I generally use a Fanatec CSR wheel but sometimes a pad if its not convenient to get it out (ooh err)
Welcome new folks. Churchpro or Gizziegod can get you an ingame invite to the Euro club division. shoot them a message if you haven't gotten an invite yet. Just give a shout if you need anything.

Thanks - will being a club memeber give a friends list too, or do I still need individual friend requests for people?

Friends of SibonxB not played Forza as i do not have it but will by Christmas, Play Grid at the moment as im still trying to get used to using a controller instead of a keyboard and mouse.
Looking forward to getting the game and doing a few laps.
I am a huge racing fan. I have been playing since GT1 days on the PS until i brought an Xbox about 4 years ago, so it had to be Forza all the way.
I am not very good at painting, i usually don't have the time to create masterpieces, so a lot of my paintjobs are from the storefront, which i tend to favour replicas of race colours, but pretty good at tuning.

I'm Craig a 42 year old from Scotland looking for some racing fun. I found this site while looking into joining a Forza 4 team.
Only had a few months experience with Forza, been playing GT5 before that. Can usually get resonable times while time trialing and online i'm ok racing with the same cars but struggling yet with the tuning but i'm sure that will get better now that i've found here. Found a few posts with regards to tuning so i'm learning already.

Glad to see people are still playing the game!
Cheers,
Duncan

There isn't much in regards to rules - we are a pretty relaxed group and alwawys say that you race to have fun. :)
Any information for a series/event will be in the first page of the post.
Just join in, the others in the room will help you get started :)
