Welcome Tim. since you're sticking with your in-game club, I'd suggest sending a Fr to our club FoF gamertag. Then you can view that tag's friends list to find other members until you make some friends on your own list. Let us know if there's anything you need.
@brntguy: I live in La Vergne, TN. Raised in Nashville. (Go Preds!) I consider myself a gamer from the time I bought a copy of Tactics II at a SuperD drugstore when I was 13 or something. I still got it, too, and some other AH and SPI games. Loved me some Microprose games on the C64.
@jcotter: I will send a request to the FoF tag tonight or tomorrow. Thanks.
Holy Shit Dude. I'm right down the road from you in Nashville. I'm Just little ways off the Harding Place exit on I-24. We'll have to get together sometime.
Hint...Perhaps you should head down to Atlanta with us for Petit LeMans in October.
We lived on Spartan Drive just off of Harding Place when I was growiing up. I went to Antioch and Glencliff.
Petit Le Mans sounds nice but I doubt that I can do it this year. I really want to take my son there and to Barber sometime. The museum at Barber looks cool. Speaking of museums, have you been to the Lane Motor Museum?
I vote Bob a honorary Tennesean. He lives close enough plus he can fly his own plane. He gets my vote.
Thanks H2Daddy. I live in Georgia in E time zone, my plane is hangared in Jasper TN in the Central time zone, and I sometimes drive through Alabama going to fly. We can see Alabama and Central time zone from our house, so I'm pulled 3 ways. Originally from Missouri so u have to show me :-)
No reason to start insulting people BigDaddy, especially the newbies. There’s a reason Bob only visits your backwards State, no need to condemn the Man!
Welcome, Bob...I think I may have already raced with you a time or two and neglected to properly bump you off the track. I will rectify that on our next race. ;)

I've been bumped by worse than you ;-))
Yeah, but you'll never be bumped by better.
I disagree. insanerc is the best that I've had the pleasure to encounter. But I don't know if it's skill or his lack of.

I'm glad that you and Garry are having pleasurable encounters. How much does he charge for a half hour?
I got into gaming through my children we started with the Wii then moved onto an Xbox then a spare Xbox (now my daughters) when the CD drive had to go off for repair before Christmas (couldn’t be without, already bought more games for presents). Decided Driving games were too difficult without a wheel so picked up a Microsoft Wheel off eBay for £50.
My wife noticed I was getting into racing and asked what I would like for my birthday so I got an open wheeler rig which is easy to adjust for each family member although my son is a little small so we shove cushions in for him. My wife didn’t realise how big it was but it has its place in the living room, and I now use the turtle head set so when all have gone to bed I mute the TV and chill in stereo blis to high revving, gear snapping, cars.
This year I got upgraded to Fanatec CRS wheel and pedals Club Sports V2, on the basis that the kids needed better realism (yeah right). I’m looking at getting another rig which my son and his mates can use without much adjustment.
My daughter calls me a sweat on Forza, still not sure if that is a compliment. Why is the language always changing its meaning by the next generation? Saw Will.I.am on “the voice” (family viewing) graffiti the word Dope what’s all that about? Yep that means I’m well into being 55 years young.
Love the paint it, tune it, and race it of Forza 4.
Play Dirt1 & 3 and WRC3 where I really do see how bad I am, or play rivals on Forza Horizon against my daughter and got beaten once! And on once only! No really but she gets me all the time on COD black ops.
I will send a pm to ProChurch for an invite to the Euro arm of the club, Its very encouraging, and entertaining reading these intro’s but I doubt the self-deprecation on speed and skill is totally truthful.
Some say I’m fast but most say I’m not…set the bar low it can only get higher.
PS I do work…by profession I’m an architect by reality a company director in a small specialist software company.

Funny you should mention Lane. I keep saying I need to go see it, but never seem to do so lol.
Why don't the two of you just get a room already! Welcome to 2O4F, Thane.
Welcome to the site!
Welcome from another Tennessean.
Well hell, how many Tennessean's do we have in here?
Welcome x 2...
My guess is too many.
Sorry Parcells, you're only allowed one guess...
I was in TN this morning, does that count?
It did, but now, not so much...
