MS Re-opening the beta program to more users

Not sure if anyone else got this, but it might be worth a look for the guys that couldn't get in last time.

edit- the links aren't working for some reason right now. Don't know whats up with that. Not a good sign for the Beta, eh?

I signed up for it. Does anyone know how to get the beta key or what to do after you get in. I accidentally closed the conformation page before actually reading the instructions.

Signin to the link emezmer has provided using your LiveID. On the left hand navigation pane, click on product keys and follow the instructions. The webpage eventually provides a 25 character download code. You take that code and treat it is as if you were buying something from the Xbox Live marketplace. That downloads an app into your My Games area and when you run that game in "Demo" mode it collects your console info and uploads back to Microsoft. After 1-2 business days the beta update is supposed to get downloaded to you Xbox.

That has all been done for my Xbox - now waiting for the update to arrive.

Just got signed up now. I'm still in the process of getting it set up, but it looks like you need to register on the public beta forums? Can't find them, so I don't know whats up with that.

Also, it looks like it takes a day or two after you sign up for the beta dash to come through. They really could have made this easier to figure out

Off topic...did yesterday's anniversary activities secure at least one more a year from now?

Parcells...You Always Crack Me Up!!...I know you must tire of me bitching about MS and Forza Issues but it never ceases to amaze me how and why we still put up with it!!! It has gotten to a point that if we didn't...things just wouldn't seem right!! As for the Anniversary Activities...Had a Great Time!!! ... Now for being secure?....I usually run a paranoid edge knowing life can change in a split second but I will not live my life fretting it for sure...Be Happy and Have a Great Time is what I try to do Everyday..With the emphasis on "TRY"!!

I am at a loss for words as to your troubles with Forza 4 and Xbox Live. You no doubt have tried everything by now that you could on your end, including router replacement, hard wiring of Internet connection, high speed connection, etc.

I Have..Replace Router...Hard Wired the Connection...Running 45/35 Speeds with Verizon...All Portable Phones and Cell Phones in Bedroom!!!!...Last weeks race with Kochino is the first race since November that I haven't had some kind of issue!!!..Hoping it starts a trend!

Thanks for the heads up, I missed out the first go round. Supposedly the new dashboard update will include a Fanatec wheel fix also so I'm all in.
