Sorry guys, after sim racing on the PC, Forza just isn't the same for me anymore. The PC is just so much more immersive with the pit strategy, fuel and tire management, and realistic physics. Last time I tried playing Forza, I couldn't control the cars anymore. If you would like to race with me, check out Gone Broke Racing or the new 2old2race forum.

Its because you like to drive fast and win races!!!
With the arrival of the Warhead headset, I have found new life in Forza, mostly because I can again do lobby racing with 2Old4Forza guys. I also like to do single player Forza, which gives me a chance to casually drive cars that I otherwise do not drive in my PC sims. I also like the H shifter support in Forza, its the only game where I regularly use the H shifter.
I'm just a little burnt out on Forza. I will probably come back to it, I just need a break.
Variety has been the key to me avoiding burnout. It also helped to add the triple screens to Forza, which made the game noticeably more immersive. Yes, it carries a cost (about $500 for the extra Xboxes and copies of the game), but its more than worth it.
Off the top of my head I know the following, only cause they make me laugh...
time driven ~ 160 hrs
time in menus ~170 hrs
career 1.9%
building ~70 hrs
tuning ~35 hrs
so yeah.. menu time is a problem.. I don't do carreer and when I am actually "playing" the game, not away in the menus, I am building and tuning a lot... :)
That sucks Troy. You're a great racer and will be missed.
WTF????...When the Fuck does a Jarhead run out on his Buds?????
