New guy here. I'm completely making the transition to X1. Very pleased with what I'm seeing out of the new FM5.
Obviously it would be nice to have more cars and tracks but I applaud they're decision to start from scratch and go all in on the next generation. I think that will pay off big time and really raise the bar for all console sims. GT6 has taken the opposite approach going for Quantity over Quality.
Don't get me wrong I'm sure it'll be a good game but I'd rather get the cutting edge to tear stuff than deal with literally 800 standard cars. And despite all the criticism T10 took I don't think it is possible for them to have delivered more content and still go all out in next gen goodness. Hope to see a bunch of you on the track...
TBH i think 200 cars is plenty, i have over 400 cars in my garage and probably only use 50 or less, a lot are cars i have used or built for series and probably wont use them again.
I agree about the track list but i have always said i would rather buy tracks as DLC over cars, so if they make Nordschleife more realistic as Bathurst does i am willing to pay for it (hopefully its free though)
I'm picking it up the moment it gets released in Belgium. I was actually considering to hop across the border to pick it up but some of the recent announcements from T10 made that decision a whole lot easier.
I will be getting an Xbox One, as soon as my local game store gets one from its distributor. My first download will be Forza 5, then Ryse Son of Rome. Digital all the way baby!!!
