They should show up under their respective manufacturers when you go to buy cars for your garage. If you've downloaded the car pack to your XBox you may need to restart the game to see the cars.
Are you purchasing the car packs from inside the game? The marketplace? Getting a car pack allows you to then go into the dealership and purchase one of the cars in the pack, they will not all just magically appear in your garage.
You should download the DLC from the in game Marketplace where you bought it. Once you actually download the DLC you can then purchase the car with in game credits from the dealership just like any other car.
I am away from the Xbox. I will look for the dealership. I assume it is in the marketplace also? Doesn't seem like a very good system. Heck, I downloaded the season pass. I have no idea what cars I downloaded. :)

Here's what you need to do. Go back into the In-Game market place and "purchase" the following car packs. Since you're a Season Pass holder you should not be charged any MS Points.

Also look for the Free Hyundai Veloster and SRT Viper car packs.
After downloading the car packs you should probably exit and restart the game so the cars show up under their respective dealerships.
When you fire up the game go to Free Play and then select hot lap. The next screen will want you to pick a car. Any manufacturer that has the word New in the upper left corner of their logo has one of those DLC cars. Select the manufacturer and scroll through the cars. Look for cars with the word New above them. Those are your DLC cars.
If you go into Career Mode from the main screen and select Cars | Buy Cars from the menu, you'll see the same type of selection screen except you'll be buying cars for your garage(My Cars) which you can then customize and tune to your heart's content. If you're short on credits, let us know.

Buy the cheapest car you can maybe a ford ka, put it on the Auction house with a buyout price of 10 million put description as red Ka and I will buy it, should be enough to get you started. Just post here when you put it up.

Don't get depressed when you see the times from the other racers (saw your post from VAG attack, I think). Many of them have an advantage of better equipment, more time with the game and most importantly, God given talent. I let it go a long time ago. This is one place where I can get together with other like individuals and share a common hobby. Jump in with me or send me a FR. I'm on in the late eve/early am -5GMT/Chicago time. You will win more than your fair share of races. Although, as long as I stay away from insanerc's rear enders I can podium pretty often.

Dont worry credits are easy to come by. If you need help getting started let us know. Once you get the ball rolling with credits it'll be easy.
If you send me an FR I will send you some cars to sell for CR.
Trust me Credits are so easy to get on this game and you get to the point when you dont even think about them
Also be sure to check the A/H before fuying a car as you can normally pick the normal ones up for 2000 cr ect.

Once you get a few hours gaming you dont need to spend money as all tuning parts start to be come free and the cars are chep on the A/H
