system locking up
Would system lock ups be something that could be fixed/solved under warranty? My xbox is starting to lock up constantly even when we are watching a TV show on Xfinity app
Does your connection have anything to do with it locking up?
currently sitting ON the floor, vertical position thing was new at Xmas time.
Sitting on the floor is possibly the WORST spot to place your xbox. Especially if you have carpet. Think about it like this, Dust + Graviity + Xbox air intake = Dirty xbox that cant breath. How old is your xbox? How long has it been on the floor? It might not be a bad idea to unplug everything and get one of those Air-In-A-Can type deals from Staples/Office Depot/etc. Spray air in a can into Xbox air ports, watch the dust fly. If you didn't have it under warrenty still I'd say open it up (and I'd show you how) but not until then. Also remember Air-In-A-Can CAN contain alcohol so don't plug your xbox back in for at least 10-20 mins or so. Or if you have a small air compressor with a nozzle. But be very careful not to spray to close or apply too much pressure as it is only plastic after all.

I replaced my old xbox's disc drive 2-3 times and was amazed at how much dust was in there. Just straight caked on there. It was pretty nasty. They say all electronic devices that have an air intake should be given at the least 4-6" of space between surfaces and the air intake. And that they should be at the least 3'-4' from the floor as a general rule. Hope I helped. If not, you have me on your friend list. Hit me up regardless.
been on the floor for a week or so. We are at my mom's getting some work done on our house, and hopefully they are done next week. This is already OLD!
Anyhow I'll get it off the floor.
