For those of you who say I lag.......
I tested my internet speed from various spots across the country from NYC to Modesto CA. All the way out in Modesto I'm still getting 21 Mbps. In the picture where you see 9.59 Mbps is where I'm on my laptop going through 2 wireless routers + a power line adapter by Rocketfish. But the other results are my laptop plugged in where my Xbox is plugged in. I'm getting 58 Mbps average for the NYC area and 53 Mbps through Flint MI area. It's this peer to peer that is the problem. So glad MS is attempting to fix that with dedicated servers.

Whats your upload speed? Your download speed would not effect others seeing you lag. Do you have others playing online while your racing.
How many others are on your network and what are they doing? Is your network secure?
My uploads north of 5 and I have 2 or 3 kids online sometimes as others will attest here.
I usually have my Xbox and my wife on hers. Both the Xbox and Wii in the living room are usually running Netflix while I play. These speed tests were done with the wii on Netflix. Not the wife's box at the time. 7.16Mbps Upload here in NY. 6.63Mbps to Flint MI. 4.67Mbps to Modesto CA. Yes my network is secure. It's the highest encryption setting that my router has to offer. And the reason I was checking this to start with is because my connection is supposed to be 55Mpbs D/L and my new Internet getting installed Thurs is 75Mpbs D/L and 35 U/L. Whats up Drivebye?

dam right, got sick of lag when first joined 2o4f, so got BT INFINITY as soon as it was available in my area, at £26 per month.
I be in Dublin, that be South that is. I'm lucky living in the city as I have access to very good cable broadband up to 100mb, I have 50mb as I wouldn't really need the 100mb.Rural Ireland is a different matter just ask Knight.
