The one flag workaround is fairly confusing. I'd just go with full two flag until 343i comes out with a working version. Quite a few of us were having trouble with the mancannons. If you don't hit them perfectly, they don't work. Too far into the geometry I think. The race map was working for me after the first lap but I didn't understand the scoring. :)

If you see me on sometime when you are forging let me know. I like the landscape around there and the multi-tiered concept, I just think it needs orientation fixes and perhaps some landmarking work.. I'd love to walk through the design concept with you sometime when I'm not incredibly frustrated trying to deliver a flag to some point that I can't figure out how to get to.

enjoyed it myself do u all play with headsets? if u do i couldnt hear no one but all in all i had fun now if i can get on some blops2 and mw3 also blops just bought crysis 2 and 3 today

We all had headsets on. It showed that you did not. Check your xbox and game settings. Much more fun when you can hear everyone. (:

Another great evenings of games. :) My party stayed with default gametypes and maps for the majority of the evening. I saved a Race game until the very end. We had tested the map before hand but reality trumps testing, all too often. 16 players on heavily Forged maps is not a good combo and it resulted in many/all of our boxes locking up. I mentioned to Kenjamin that we could use a Race map which just uses the basic map. When one is available, we'll give it another try. See you all next week.
Sounds fun sorry I missed it. From past experience me attempting to play Halo (especially at my low skill lvl) and watch a basketball on another tv doesnt work so good!

Skill means nothing for this group. Come out, hang out, meet up with folks you haven't met up with before, and what not. If you're looking to get more serious, you can usually meet them too and move accordingly, or not.

You should, Ders! It's a good way to meet people. And a good way to find out who is awesome (Bubba), who is bossy (Dixon), who plays too good NOT to be cheating (T), and who is too busy making dirty jokes to take the game seriously (me).
When new season of Archer is over, I should be comin back to Thursdays now and then (not that anyone asked...lol).
No matter your level of skill or level of "dedication" Thursday night is a hoot. you might learn something, but the primary lesson will probably be that most of us are a lot more fun than Dixon.
Hey Guys.. newb here for the site and I think it is grand to be able to play with mature people instead of listening for all the language and attitude you come to expect from these games.
I really am interested in playing with sound on.. and tactical .. yes just for fun! I have seen in some Infinity Slayer games that the opposition seems to be talking to each other. This adds a new dimension to Halo.
Can anyone help me find some groups who use the mics and chat features? Either way how do i get invited to the Thursday games?

hopefully no more issues with that got batteries for my turtles that set is wireless but eats up batteries lol

We have officially grown a little bit. Lala Calamari will also regularly host a Halo party for the Site Wide Halo night.

I was just having a really good night. Last night after the room(s) shut down, I had like ten games with around 30 kills. :)
nirvy is right i play both cod and halo really want to get the hookup with the right peeps to teach me on both games
