I'm hoping for something like Queens Wrath. Maybe Bungie will bring the Osiris faction into play. They not really mentioned but you can hear the Cryptarch and Lakshmi from FWC talk about them if you listen to their ramblings.
That area was blocked off when the game first started and wasn't accessible until the Queen's Wrath bounties started. Then the IB followed immediately afterward, so it remained open. That area is only open for special "events".

Which is kinda silly if you think about it, because it only has one single NPC in that whole giant area. They could at least put some random people walking around or something.
I love the game, but some of the simple most basic omissions are just mind-blowing. Maybe I am wrong, but Bungie cant be that stupid. I will assume it was a hard deadline by the publisher that caused a lot of the little (but very important) features and flavor to be left out.

I mean, we gotta see more foot traffic in some of those areas eventually, no? Maybe even multiple folks/events in there at a time, right?
Iron Banner finishes today.

There is also a dead ghost on the railing in there that you can only get when the events happen.
Deny, allow, deny, allow, deny, allow. Simple behavior controls.
I think Bungie just wants the place to seem special.
I expect we'll see something new soon.
