TRitton Warhead 7.1 for Xbox!
Tritton just released on their newsletter that the Warhead 7.1 will be available for a short time for $199 (Regularly $299.). This headset is outstanding. I had a minor problem with mine within the last month and they issued me a brand new complete headset.
I agree with Wheels I also have them and they work perfecly with the fanatec wheels no cables needed for headset to wheel. No cables hanging from headset, only 2 cables. One DC power cord to the Tritton receiver and the other cable from the optic connection in back of xbox to the Tritton receiver thats it ! done ! All cables provided. Awesome deal for 199.00.

3 G's...Glad the timing worked out for you!!!...I know you will be happy with them..I couldn't run online with anybody for a LONNNNNNNNG time because of the incompatibility issue of headsets with the Elite Wheel. My last problem with my headset cost me a month (My Lazy Fault of not Shipping it Back Promptly) of racing. I found the Headset Fantastic...Technical Support Fantastic!!..Now comes in 3 Colors..Several Updates...Impressive!!
Can you get the mic to work with the ps3 if you use the wireless receiver thing for the controller

Yeah, which is odd, since they use a blue tooth connection. Which is what the ps3 uses .
The xBox controller actually uses Wireless RF and not Bluetooth, very similar but not quite the same!!
Anyone had any issues with this headset. Ie buzzing,humming,crackling sensitive mic :)
S....My issue was the left cup on the headset...Sound was distorted with a slight echo. While trying to dismantle the headset base to ship back I broke the battery retainer clip which holds the battery in. Support was Outstanding. Communication was Outstanding. They sent me a Brand New Headset quickly as soon as they received my sent headset. If anyone has any issues my advice would be to sending it back with someone (UPS-Fed-X..ETC) which would allow you to track the item and see who signed for it. Side Note...Headset Sound is Truly Remarkable. Love the Black Piano Laqueur Finish...Battery can last up to 12 Hours Plus. Truly Detailed synopsis could be provided by "The Lawyer"...AKA Zero!!!

'Ol School...Be Back Soon...Was off for a month and the half while my Lazy Butt finally sent back my headset for using with the Xbox..Had several projects going on that are winding down before I start a new round for the Summer...Miss the Racing...Miss the 'Ol School!!
Cheers boss iv had a cracking noise in my headset so iv sent them back hope to get replacement ASAP. They where great but the noise just pissed me off as soon as I heared it I was listening for it all the time. Hope the new set are better.

Great, now Im getting the same issue in my left ear cup. Been working like a champ all this time then tonight, it start this shit. Any advise?
Edit - I found a fix for this on thier site, Pulled the power on the base station for 10 seconds, plugged it baqck in and it works now. :)
I was just about to recommend that same troubleshooting tip . I did that as well and worked for me.
I have, usually with other people talking, it cracks. no problems with buzzing though.
No joy got a new set and they where worse than the first very disapointed wont be getting a third set thats for sure:(

My Warhead headset has performed very well. I did RMA the first headset, but that was before I figured out that there was nothing wrong with the headset when it went dead, I just needed to change the battery!!!
I wish I played Xbox more, since the headset is so good. It will work with PS3 or PC as well, but only game sound, no chat. The chat is proprietary to the Xbox 360.
I must say I really like the Trittons! So comfortable and both the sound cuality (game and chat) are crisp and clean. Being able to mute the mic on this headset is outstanding. I just have to be careful where I put my fingers if I take my headset off in between races. The buttons are right where I place my fingers and have turned off the game sound on more than one occasion.
I got another set and I agree the sound is great not had much chat yet but again there is this crackling sound. Its like it happens every few mins like crack crack then its ok for a few mins iv tried all the help from mad cats website but still the problem is there. I have a set of 720+ and they are great but wired so can't use them with the wheel it was the sound in these that made me get the warheads to use with the wheel. Ill send an email to mad cats and see what they have to say maybe its a bad batch that amazon have.
