Use your old Fanatec on the X1

Just found this, I've got no experiance with it but thought I put it out here. Might be worth a shot.

There's a thread of controversy behind the ControllerMax (http://www,controllermax.com) and Titan One (http://www.consoletuner.com) in terms of Intellectual Property rights and other related stuff

http://psx-scene.com/forums/f177/cronusmax-controllermax-vs-titan-one-read-now-124008/ - is a 3rd party looking at the issues from both sides.

Having looked at multiple threads and pictures from psx-scene and at both sites, my opinion is Titan One looks to be the technical innovator but I have no proof one way or other. YMMV.

I have no vested interest either way - just being cheap and trying to find a  way to get my Fanatec GT2 to work on the Xbox One laugh

There have been many attempts in the past to get wheels to work on consoles which they were not designed for.  None have ever really worked the way you would like them to.  Some were able to make your wheel function as a steering controller, but none have ever been able to convert the FFB effects.  I doubt it will ever be done because Microsoft uses a completely different type of FFB engine which is propietary to their consoles.  And it is different for each console.  I have had a Fanatec wheel for the original Xbox, another one for the Xbox 360, and will eventually have the rim which will make my CSW compatible with the XBone.

There is no wheel which is not spefically built for the XBone that will ever fully function with it and have FFB.  Don't believe anyone if they tell you otherwise.  The only way to have a wheel fully compatible with any of the Xbox consoles is to buy one that is specifically built for it.

My findings too.

Saw this thread and thought Christmas was early. Did 30 minutes reading. Good for some controllers but it looks lousy for FFB. Actually non existent.

My indecisiveness and tight waddery (real word apparently) remains.

I did win the lottery on Saturday mind you. £102. Bah!
