Vintage Racing - September Pennzoil DLC
Hey guys,
I will be hosting a Vintage Multi-Class event. There will be A class and C class cars. 20 laps at Sonoma (Infineon Nascar). There will be a staggered start. The C-class cars will have a 20 second head start. This way the competitors will have to deal with some traffic management issues.
Race will be on Monday, September 3rd 2012 @ 5:00pm EST.
The class winners will be awarded MS points. ( I'll let you know the amounts as soon as I pick them up, but it will most likely be 400).
I will be posting the Tunes for the cars on my SF later this afternoon. For those that want unlocked versions, Just send me a PM via XBL and I will do my best to get the tune to you. I will be participating but I do not qualify for any prizes. I will be running the C class Mercedes 300 SL.

Sign Up is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. I only have room for one lobby, 15 spots.
I would like to see all of the cars represented. I would also like to see the "faster" guys drive the A class cars. These are GRIP tunes, which is what I generally prefer. Hope to see you guys join in.

Parcells Lotus Exige Cup Extravaganza will definitely complete well before this starts. I promise you'll have enough time for a beer and a toke before starting this race.
@Snappy - really not Parcells cup of tea but I'll be more than happy to be a replacement/alternate driver for you should you need to fill out the field. My event should be over by 4:30 and you can let me know as late as then...no worries.
I'll be there in a Miura, or if there's too many A class I'll run a Toyota 2000GT. I'll go ahead and tune both so I can jump to either come race day. Can't wait!

I will take the 300SL. I already have a paint, courtesy of you Snappy, I just need a tune.
I probably can do this. I will drive one of the slower cars. Snappy, just assign me whatever and send the tune. If you have one sitting around, a nice paint would also be cool.

Gizzie, I'll send you my tune for the Pantera. Did some tweaking at Laguna. It's my backup car in case I have to run A class.
Got more front end bite on turn in, the car is a little looser mid corner for yaw adjustments and you can really work the throttle off the corner. I didn't catch what track we are running at, so you may need to adjust final drive to suit the track. I swapped out the wheels for a set of Welds, originals were a set of Holeshots (exact same weight). The big chrome dildo in the middle of the Holeshots was bugging me..gif "20")
Edit: Just ran a couple laps. Gearing good. Launches well, once rolling you only need 2-3-4.

I'd give that about a 7.5/10 Fitz. Needs a little more air on the initial roll in the air and the slide on the roof at the end was almost non-existent...the subtle initiation was quite good though...
Snappy could you send me the tunes for both classes and pencil me in for this. Would like to run in A class but if you need another in C I will go there.
