Vintage Roadsters and Touring Cars - A SIM Damage and Drag tire event
Okay, I am at it again.
I would like to have some drivers help me out by running a 24 lap race later tonight. Sim damage will be on and the cars have drag tires. I will put the following cars in the club garage for tonight and then take them down once we are done. I want to run at Sebring where the laps are in the 2:00 +. Pretty long race if these cars are not your thing.
The cars for tonight, all C425 PI.
VW Beetle
Lotus Cortina
Sprite
Triumph TR3B
Karmann Ghia
Braking and Turn in is tough at first until the tires warm up. Beware, because following someone closely can lead to calamity. Once the tires warm up the car changes and becomes manageable. If you have an off or over heat them through a lurid slide you have to let them cool. A real challenge and very different from Race or even Sport tires. I know it's not for everyone. Some of the guys have a couple of these tunes but be advised that I have changed them. They now have front aero and some other minor part swaps as a result of adding aero.

When is this BST?
I don't have a time slot yet. This is still in development. Is there room in the Euro club? I am thinking I should switch since my available hours are usually during the daytime EST. 5 hours behind you guys. Correct?

Yeah, my son goes back to school next week and I start work at 4pm so I can do some racing in the daytime. Time for some drag tire, sim damage, endurance, no assist, blind folded shenanigans. LOL
I just ran Sebring reverse, what a shame it isn't in the game, that was fun! So you're west coast?, or what?

These are fun cars and good times racing them.
If I can make it on I'll be sure and race but I can't really commit to much these days. Even making it home in time for my own series is going to be tough.
