You guys need to pick this up and give it a shot. I'm about 5 chapters into the SP game and it's fantastic.
The MP is your standard fare -- Unlocks and perks to use with different weapons and cammo/armor loadouts. Nothing really stands out but the servers are nice and smooth (like your mom's ass).
Play the demo ... meh, but apparently the story is pretty decent so might be worth a rental.
from whatever podcasts I've heard (Giantbomb / Rebel FM) you don't play it for the MP....but the story is supposed to be well done.
Yeah, a friend was telling me about it. He really likes the story and said it was hard to put down.
$50 at Best Buy and the glowing review of the story is enough for me to want to grab it.

I've played the single player on the PC and its great. I haven't touched the MP though. To many game in backlogged.
