BlackOps 2 -- I couldn't help it.
I said I wasn't going to get it but they suckered me in by having Reznor do the theme for it. I love his music. He's one of my favorite musicians...and an oscar-winning composer now, too.
My wife was going to get me something for our anniversary so I told her to just get me Black Ops 2. I won't feel as dirty as I would if I had bought it myself. 
Anyone else getting it for the PS3 and up for some mutliplayer at some point?

By all accounts the game is very good of course - getting good reviews....even read shit like Treyarch surpasses Infinity Ward on this one type of hype.
I haven't posted on here in quite some time. But, I am getting back into gaming a bit. I got BLOPS 2 at midnight release , got a XBOX copy for my son ( I don't have one for myself anymore ) and I got a PS3 copy for me. It is really good! I haven't tried to play the campaign yet, just played zombies and multiplayer online. I definitely recommend it. If any of you want to play send me a request psn: capsfanx

I finally played a little Friday and Saturday. Did the first section of SP and played a lot of MP.
The game seems fun so far. My first MP match was unfortunately that hijacked ship level on TDM. that was a total campfest and made me think "Yep, this is CoD." After that I tried some Domination, HQ, and Kill Confirmed. Those three game modes seem pretty balanced. The kill streak perks don't seem to be over the top so far, either.
I'll try to be on a little more tonight to take advantage of double XP.
Got it for PS3 so looking to play when I can.
Broke down and bought it and the league aspect seems pretty cool. Wish they left the Nuketown 2025 24/7 alone. Maybe a friday night frag fest? Anyone up for it?
