getting a lot of buzz! and with good reason. RTS / FPS hybrid game. This looks to be well balanced and amazing! I'm definitely picking this up. I'll let you know :) Anyone in the beta? have any feedback for us?

played as marine and alien troopers but haven't tried commander yet.

So how is the game? I am definitely interested in picking this one up.
I really dig it Cardiac. I haven't tried being the commander (RTS guy) yet. I'm still learning the flow of the game and the FPS aspect. As an FPS it plays a lot like Alien Vs. Predator if you've ever play that. But you have this whole base building / upgrading thing thrown in. The game runs great. My only real gripe is that it takes about 3 - 5 minutes to get into a game because it does this "pre-cacheing" thing that seems to take awhile so that's a bit annoying. Also I would love to have had some bots to be able to play alone (you can run around the levels alone and try commander stuff and what not but with no bots).
