You can add friends and send messages. It's pretty neat. Still playing around with it.
I just downloaded the app also. Not had a chance to check it out just yet though.

Pretty nice app, though it's odd that it takes you to a website for some things like buying games instead of just building it into the app.
yeah, I found that to be rather strange too. However, I can finally send voice messages over the PSN! I've been asking for that feature for years. Not bad for a first attempt.
I think part of the reason the app takes you to a website instead of buying in the app is that Apple requires royalties if purchased In-App whereas if it is a website they don't have to give Apple a cut. I would assume then that if the droid versions do the same thing, it is just to keep the app consistent
I downloaded the app yesterday for my Galaxy S3; so does it allow you to send FR invites to your friends ahead of time of the PS4's actual launch???
Yes sir. You can also send and receive voice/text messages. You however cannot send real name invites.
