I'll be honest, I was hoping for 12-16 but then it may be a clusterfuck. I'm just happy there is an 8 person party chat on the ps system!
Great news. I think more than 8 would make it nearly impossible to talk or hear. Some of the games I have played with mutiple players can drive you nuts when everyone talks at once.
If Skype makes it on ps4 you could have party chat with the xbox peeps. I imagine it would work like the Vita and run in the background.
