Impressive visually. New XP for skill points and salvage for weapon upgrades was a nice touch. Combat feels smooth. Uncharted-like action sequences. If you were on the fence with picking this one up, don't be.
I'm about 30% through the single player. Another nice feature is that the tomb raiding puzzles are optional, so if you want to experience the story without being interupted by a bunch of puzzles and relic hunting, you can always go back via fast travel and do it later. The only complaint I have with it so far is that the smaller text in the weapon/skill upgrade menu is just about impossible to read. Not sure what they were thinking there.

It's a conspiracy with Sony. They want you to purchase a larger TV.
I purchased the Collector's Edition for the 360 (didn't have anymore for the PS3); tried it out today after wrapping up a week of midterm exams, now I'm officially on March Break, and get to relax and play a few games; but I am extremely impressed with this re-boot.
Yeah, I was waiting for some reviews to come out and it seems to be getting good reviews across the board.
I bit the bullet and did the preorder on it today.
That's reassuring. I'll get to it eventually.

I just watched a bit of that vid but they' went to a section I haven't played yet....so there might be some spoilers in there for other folks, too.
Played last night on the 360 and really wish I would have held off on Crysis 3 and bought Tomb Raider. Haven't tried mp yet.
From what I've read, MP is a solid "bleah".
I'm so tempted to buy this on PSN at full price but I know there will be a sale as soon as I do.
