Yeah the game is free. Supposedly you can go through and get everything in game that they actually sell. Just going to take time is all. I tried to play it a bit on my laptop and from what I seen of it so far it see,s pretty cool. Hard to play on the laptop though. I need a USB mouse, lol.
They are offering a preorder bonus to anyone that signs up before Tuesday the 12th. I have not been able to get through as the site keeps failing but if you want to give it a go here is a link to the story:
I will pick it up when it comes out; I just purchased a PSN+ membership card and will install it on my PS3, then I just have to import my account file over to the PS4 come Friday!!! :)
Well, I checked out Warframe a bit. I didn't spend a bunch of time with it as I couldn't stay with one game long enough. I kept switching every hour or so between, Warframe, BF4 and Killzone. That in between time my daughter was playing DCUO. I played for a bit last night though. I am starting to really enjoy it though to be honest. IT is Free and you don't have to spend any cash on it, but I am thinking I may throw a bit at it to get some of the good Warframes and gear possibly. Still trying to learn everything with it though. It reminds me of playing Borderlands though, and I really liked playing BL.
I fired it up and had some fun. I was the only person doing the security hack, I don't think the other kids playing had any idea what to do. I need to adjust my tv cause that was really dark and I couldn't even see enemies till they were right on top of me.
Really has that Borderlands feel. I'm not the biggest BL fan but it was decent.
The more you play and get into it, the more fun it is. As with any game, the more you unlock, abilities and weapons and stuff, the better also. You have to apply the mod cards and stuff you pick up , then you can upgrade those cards as well. Each weapon can have mod cards applied to them and also can be upgraded as well.
OK, I started messing around with this again. Started at release but it was so confusing and I hated having R2 and L2 being aim and fire since I'm used to PS3 controller. At any rate, I'll have to watch that 20 minute movie above. I just started to figure out how to put things on the armor. Not sure about the ABC slots and I have some abilities mapped but it doesn't let me use them, I think becuase I'm not leveled up enough. Debating about spending 5 or 10 bucks to get some stuff to see how it all works out.
If it's free it's for me.
That said, it's going to be hard to find time.
I'll check anything out for free.

Yeah I did that on Friday. It is sitting in my cart now.
I "bought" it the day they put it on the PS store front. If it's free, I'm in.
I have it on PC and it is really fun, going to get it on PS4 indeed.

Tried and didn't really care for the combat, especially when using melee... but hell it's free.
I downloaded it but haven't played yet.
I already have a backlog of games and haven't even had the console for a week!
I know the feeling!
I tried it out, not bad; however I found the melee combat a little off when trying to strike an opponent, otherwise the guns work fine
Yeah the melee takes some getting used to. I am really enjoying it though the more I play it.
Found a video that I think will be a big help

And then a wiki for the game

I played quite a bit yesterday, it can be confusing at times, but it still a fun game. Reminds me of the multiplayer from Mass Effect 3.
