Sorry for the triple post. It kinda froze on me or somthing.
I am planning on doing a Commando trooper, and speccing him into DPS at first. I've been doing the healing thing with my Sorc, so I'ld like to take a shot at the DPS tree here. But as a Commando, I'll have the option to do healing as well.
We should have at least one of us go Vanguard, and be able to tank for us, when we do flashpoints for gear.
Who else is interested in doing this? I know we have Gaius and Lala and myself. Is Landon joining us? How about T3 and Rau?
I'd love to see 8 Troopers in a Warzone.
Me. I will. Whatever you want me to do. I don't really care.
I've got to finish my op first, but I'd do a trooper. I'll spec whatever, no preference.
Gaius and I started our Troopers.
My name is Methoon. Right now I am planning on taking him Vanguard, so we'll have a tank for flashpoints. I think Gaius is planning on doing a Commando healer, but I am not sure.
We should also decide who is going to do what crew skills. We can mail items back and forth between Empire and Republic now, so I have Armstech covered. Gaius and I can both make stims with Biochem. I was thinking about doing an Armormech guy, but if someone else wants to do it, that is cool too. We should think about someone doing Cybertech, for armor mods.
If everyone takes Scavenging we'll have a good supply of mats for Armstech, Armor and Cybertech.
Got to love my Bro-stache. Made a toon, LalaTrooper. Real original, so what.
So how should we do this, want to set a goal of level 20, and then we all get together to start pvping and do Flashpoints?
Probably a good idea to keep our guys close to each other in level.
That's what I'd like to do. I'm still working on my BH so hopefully I can keep up with you guys. I doubt it.
Ill start mine up this week. With work I'll prob not have the time to level fast anymore, but I should be able to catch up.
Picked up the custom assault cannon schematic on the GTN for only 2k credits. Already crit crafted 3 of them. These are the level 20 model, so we'll have them early. I'll just need a supply of lower level scavenging mats to keep us fully stocked in artifact level barrels.
I'm really hoping we can get 8 Troopers into a pvp match one of these days. That'll be a riot.

Same Server, this way the legacy BS still works. I have not moved my guy 1 inch from the starting zone. Guess I need to put some time in.
BTW, it's Warriors of the Shadow. For those that are not on that server yet.
I'll go make one and start slowly leveling. I might just pick one day a week where I play him for a couple of hours since I still need to get my OP to 50.
What advanced class do we need? I don't want to be in a situation where we have too many of X and not enough of Y and can't do shit.
Gaius says he is going Commando healer. I think Lala is doing a Vanguard. I'm still up in the air, but probably a Vanguard. Not sure about anyone else.
I will probably go Vanguard, but stay DPS.
And if they ever make Dual spec / multi spec it won't matter.
We did some Flashpoints and Warzones tonight. The troopers are a blast. First Warzone I get into and I top the damage meter. And that's without any real abilities. We did very well on the new Warzone (which is very cool) and we did ok on Alderaan. I think we were limited due to having no real abilites.
So far I'm really liking the Pub side. The starting planet was really good, Coruscant looks fantastic. I was disappoined with the Pub's Space Station. I was surprised that it is the same as the Imps and I don't thing it even looks as nice.
Other than that, it's been fun. My only fear is getting ganked since we are so outnumbered.
i will start one as well. Will try DPS/Healer spec as well. seeing as its easy to flip between the two.
