Harry Potter

I'm reading the Harry Potter series for the second time, and I'm noticing lots of things. I'm a third of the way into the third book. I never realized before, when Tom Riddle killed Myrtle in the bathroom, that was when he made his first Horcrux. Also, the way Lupin has the class fight against the Boggart in Defense Against The Dark Arts, it occurred to me that could be considered animal cruelty. Anyone else read these?
