What I can't figure out is why they released the Hero mech for the Highlander befoer they released the mech itself. I mean, the Raven, Spider,Trebuchet, Jagermech, and the Stalker have all been released and don't have hero versions yet. Personally I don't feel having (with the current bonuses they're giving with them) Hero mechs for the Jenner, Catapult, Hunchback, and Atlas would be fair to the Founders buyers...
Yea.... Kind of slow today. Heavy Metal is literally an $26.98 USD Mech. Don't believe that will be my hero mech. Can't say I am that happy about the added consumables either. Kind of has that online FPS frag you "insert your mother comment here" feeling. I hope they don't screw this game up. I really like it.
If you have a Hero Mech already, or if you see one in a class you like I guess, what I do is run them on Double XP weekends Build up a BUNCH of Mech XP on them. Then wait for weekends where there's a XP to GXP conversion sale going on, then buy MC for that. That way you have 1 or 2 Hero Mechs you really enjoy using, and you're maximizing GXP to pay for the modules easily, justifing the expense...
7 bucks in MC transferred over 62000 XP into GXP.
Well I spent the cash on the game, but paying the cost of another game to buy an Item in a game still hurts my brain. I might warm up to it one day but lets see if the Call in An Air Strike ruins it.
First of all, Cynfire, you need to rework that table. There are several datapoints that are incorrect.
Second... man, I am so bummed that the Pretty Baby is on sale. My MWO buying plan for the future: Only buy MC on sale. Only buy Hero mechs that are on sale. Miserly meter out my MC on mech bays;)
