I entered last year...Mayhem, fast drivers that put in slow qualifying times to get into a lower split, agressive driving, in two hours of racing I was on track for a total of about twenty minuits, rest of the time was spent in pits getting repaired after being punted off the track...Ranks as the worst sim racing experience I ever had LOL. Now I was still Rookie level so that probebly didn't help but I think I'll probebly give it a miss
I plan to run it with the McLaren. I won't need very much preparation since I have driven hundreds of laps with that track/car combination. If Craig runs it, I'm guessing he will use the Cadillac.
it takes alot of skill and concentration to put in 120 mins....the 80 min races at rd are my current limit....half way through those and my neck is just killing me and I start to lose all focus I need a proper rig iam not sure if the screens are to high or low?
Some cars I can turn off the auto clutch or blip and up shift by lifting with no clutch and blipping on downshifts other cars it doesn't work ill get to second go to shift up or down and it will go straight into neutral? So iam forced to use auto blip which slows you down cause it always pings off the rev limiter for a split second
i bought the skippy yesterday which has the new tm and I must say its pretty damn awesome and makes you remember to use proper driving technics. That new tm is really nice and grippy it's just a shame iracing is so far behind in there tm development. I saw on fb a interview with the tm dev. And by what he was explaining the skippy and lotus have the new model, the f1 and oval cars will have it soon but no time soon on the road cars :(
its starting to go in the right direction but very slowly at implicating things that have been in other sims for the past 7 yrs ? There quit fortunate that none of the new sims have been released officially with there new features which gives them a bit of time to catch up but I have suspicion by then it could be too much to tackle?

Well I managed the full 2 hours and am absolutely gutted.
leading the MP4's until my gears were jammed in neutral.
ending a zero incident race as I ha to be towed.
came back out 8 mins later and spent it unlapping myself.
ended 15th out of 40 4 laps behind lead.
who knows what could have been eh?
Roll on BTCC
Well done mate!

Yeah that was a rough day since I also raced the V8's at race department too, clocking in around 4 and a half hours of racing lol.
was worth sticking in even after the gears failing as I am now on course for promotion to B.
I agree they are very slow with content, I think they announced Donington over a year ago now and still no sign of even a teaser
