Issues with Dragons?

Anyone having issues with killing dragons and not getting loot?  It's been happening to me.  At fist I was thinkng it's a DPS thing and I'm not making the cut.  So I bring up my Combat log, none of my attacks are hitting the dragon.  I don't get it.  I have the dragon targeted.  I am hitting and am seeing damage numbers fly up.  I'm not seeing misses. Nothing at all shows on my combat log other than hits I'm taking.  I go target a Risen during the Tequatl fight, hits show up on the log.  Go back to targeting the dragon, nothing.  I'm positive I have the dragon targeted.  I'm positive damage is shown on the screen. 

I found out others are having this issue on GW2 forums.  Anyone have any suggestions?
