Issues when playing on 2 Xboxes
Issues when playing on 2 Xboxes
So a couple of weeks ago I hooked up an old Xbox 360 so my daughter could play with me. We had no problems for about 10 days. Now, however, we can no longer play with other people. If someone trys to join us they get a server connection issues. If she is playing with someone and I join she gets kicked off.
We were able to get somone to join last night by taking off invite only and opening it to friends of friends (which I don't like doing, as unknown 8-year olds jump in and steal my shit). But if by of my accounts are friends with the account we are joining it shouldn't have to be set to 'allow friends of friends', should it? And vise versa - If we are both friends of player X he should not have to set his game to allow friends of friends.
My Xbox is in the DMZ and hers appears to have the correct ports forward (testing the connection reveals no NAT issues). What else could I be missing?
Oh is that what's been happening. I thought it was just be me.
Let me know if you figure anything out. I had to remove all port forwarding when I setup Time4Beverage server, but randomly when I login on to live on my Xbox it knocks the server offline.
I never figured anything out. Most of the time it works now, some of the times it doesn't.
I was having a really hard time with my two units on my old router. But after upgrading to high end consumer level hardware every single WiFi device I have worked better. Something to consider.
