Judgement Help Thread!!!!
We have a bunch of really good gears players on this site and I'm sure they are more than willing to lend help if you are having problems or issues with anything multiplayer related. Ask away!!!!!
I will start with one:
What is the best way to handle a player with a boomshield??? I know nades first but where and how do I shoot the guy? I've tried melee, I've tried flanking to the side and aiming for the head. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.
What I want to know is how are people so damn good with that breech shot? I was in a match where this guy was popping heads like crazy with it.
I hear what u are saying about the breach shot.. I can't even see that far anymore :)
the few times I got past the boomshield I rushed up against him and worked my way behind the shield. I don't think they turn as fast.
Throw an ink at the boomshield feet and you'll force him to move so you can shoot or die in it. I think smoke also makes them drop it.
And don't forget you're just as accurate blind firing as aimed so that makes using the breechshot easier. You can sit behind cover totally safe and still pop heads.
Haven't tried this yet, but maybe try aiming for his feet. Wouldn't work with a gnasher. But what Taco said will work as well. Smoke grenade will make them drop the shield so it's open season on them then.
The breechshot.....just keep the recticle at head level and you'll nail almost every shot against someone whose on the same level as you. Maybe turn down your aim speed to help keep it steady. And practice. That's the damn event this week so everyone that's playing that is starting to really get used to that weapon. It was nuts the match that I played as well. I ended up just swapping to the pistol and stayed in cover, bobbing and weaving until I could get close, pop a few shots and melee them.
Which I will say....the melee really works in this game. And I'm more than happy with that.
I played a match earlier against a guy that was using nothing buy some grenades, and it rendered the boom shielf totally worthless. Also, if they hit you with the smoke, it stuns you for good long while. I have also had success flanking to their right side. I pick up the boom shield a lot, and you definitely turn slowly.
